I m one of those computer users who prefer to keep loads of softwares on my lappy………………….While surfing net and downloading keygens of various softwares many a times I receive threats from my antivirus about the possible intervention in the system…………………….But I simply ignore them or in worst case I even disable the antivirus to get my file downloaded…………………As a result my lappy is often attacked by viruses and hence I keep on changing my antivirus …………………….Well more than a need, it has become my hobby…………………..Virtually I can’t tolerate the same antivirus starting again & again the system boots……………………….So I’ve become kind of antivirus expert………………Ha…………….Not really but yes I can atleast give my personal opinions about many antivirus…………
1. ESET NOD 32 :- Perhaps this was the antivirus which I liked the most…………….Mostly because it’s a small cute antivirus and ofcourse it does not take the toll of your system……………..It has got a very rich interface and allows you to modify it at your own ease…………………I had a patch installed for nod 32 which increased my 30 day trial to some 15,345 days …………….It is updated 2-3 times a day ……………….Even if you don’t get a patch, you can always install its 30 days trial ……..After 30 days remove it, date back your system and again install……………….yeah one more thing, it is able to remove every virus which my system can suffer………………
2. KASPERSKY 2009 :- Kaspersky has always been one of those antivirus which I used to think that it’s a boasting antivirus ……………….. Moreover I was hugely disappointed with the Kaspersky 7 …………… But man when I saw kas 2009 on my friends lappy, I was forced to intall it and give it a try………………..I was kind of impressed with its new bright interface and effect on system………………It is also updated daily and it’s easy to update also…………………. Moreover it has the rich heritage and ofcourse it has also got the latest virus protection…………..Thumbs up to kas 2009.
Antivirus review, Antivirus, Technology, BEst antivirus, Kaspersky 2009, ESET Nod32, Zone Alarm, Bit Defender 10
3. QUICK HEAL 2007 :- A friend of mine gav it to me and asked me to give it a try ………………… Again very modern look……………….. One thing which I specially liked about it is the free registration……………Register it and give your details and it will give you free access for atleast till feb 2009…………………Free updates………….hmm………. Means no moral bearing of abusing the hard work of antivirus engineers by having illegal copies…………………..Yeah one more thing, once upon a time when my system was badly affected by all sorts of virus, this particular antivirus was the one to come for my rescue………….
4. BIT DEFENDER 10 :- This antivirus is supposed to be best as given in the review……………… It ofcourse tempted me to install it and give it a try……………..However to my despair whenever I installed it, my system worked like a pre P-1 lappy,…………….I tried it in combination with eset nod 32…………..It worked slow and then I tried it alone and I got the same results…………………SO till now I’ve not used it …………….And yes, don’t think that I’ve an outdated lappy……………..Yeah you may have a better one……………But I recommend using it once, for its ratings are just very impressive
5. ZONE ALARM :- What I liked instantly about this antivirus and which forced me to give a place to it in my review is its very impressive interface……………….It just impresses you………………..Even if there is a small change in the system settings, it gives a pop-up, most of the times we don’t know what to do??? But that is actually impressive………..You get a feel that it is protecting your system completely……………Moreover zone alarm labs is offering free zone alarm personal firewall……………SO there is no harm in trying it
So these are the five antivirus which I opined about in my first review…………Hope you wud have been able to make out something…………..And even if not, it’s your understanding problem, not mine.

I like Norton’s.

Well I certainly agree on your choices.
I use BitDefender 2008 on my Lappie with Vista, works great.
And the more experts we have online, the more help there will be for those who need it.
So congrats.

Thanks for the nice post, well same kind of post which helped me a lot http://www.technospot.net/blogs/5-popular-free-antivirus-compared-and-tested/
They have compared the free antivirus softwares. However now AVG is not that much preferrable, coz AVG 8 is not as good as AVG 7.5. I like Avast.
