The original post had been hanging in my blog for a while……And I feel like it is fetching attention across the nation whoever wants to know about my college…ISM Dhanbad….. So I felt like I m doing injustice to this vibrant college for just one act……I mean there is no post dedicated to all wonders which it has done to me…And there is this post which was impulsed by an unfortunate incident which could have happened to anyone……So any one who is reading this post, take my words for granted…..ISMU is a place where u will live the best days of your life certainly…..Being a guy, the only drought here is of girls, but which IIT boasts of a better ratio………… And if you are a girl, then you are most welcome…… Its just because rare things are preserved quite carefully….So no offences to my college anymore..Infact lately I decided to write a post over why the students should join ISMU Dhanbad. The post had seen my email filled with enquiry mails with some people appreciating my effort.

ISM Dhanbad: A students Perspective

I’ve always liked my college for one reason or other.. However last few days have compelled me to rethink over the issue… Its not because of all those minor major differences which are present b/w ISM and IITs. However it’s the attitude of the administration, departments towards students which sucks..

<p>Drilling Technology, our subject is ofcourse tough .. But the way it has affected our lives, has nothing to deal with its complexity.. Our HOD, Dr. A.K. Pathak teaches us the subject. However god knows why he is so angry at us.. He is delibrately trying to act against this own department students.. When my 28 friends went to give their suppli of midsem D.Tech, they hardly had a hint of what was in store for them.. The suppli paper was tougher than the midsem paper…. Not only tougher, rather it was  joke for we people after being taught in a pathetic manner by the prof….. Result was expected again 13 students failed… Now according to the new rule, they had to face year back or carry back…

Well this seems allright however all the unlawful activities over which I am disgusted are the following:-

1. How can you put entire syllabus in question for the suppli of midsem??

2. Accoding to rule, suppli has to be taken at least 2 weaks bfore the preparatory leave… However the suppli was taken only 4 days before.. So this all students have to be assumed pass given the rules… But who cares??

3. The rules are very complex.. No one knows th consequence of failing in midsem… The opinion of Dep. Director, Examination deptt, and Admin differs.

After all this, all 13 students went to Pathak sir for requesting, but he talked to them very rudely….  After then he asked them to again appear for a exam after all requests and beggings… But again according for no reasons he gave the toughest question… As a result 6 persons got failed…

I am not angry because they failed… I’m angry because they failed after studying so much.. I know how much they laboured and how they crossed these days… But if their labour is not respected, if you take exam only for the sake of failing, then there is hardly any issue to discuss… When the rumour spread that Maths Deptt. has sent the attendance defaulters list to DSW without any information to the students, I was so tensed.. I could not eat that day until unless it proved to be a rumour only..I am seeing how DK, Hitendra, Aditya, Pradeep and all are under tension…. I have been proved wrong… THis college is a real shit… I can no more recommend anyone this shit… From here if I will be able to pass my B.Tech in 4 years, I would be really happy…What can I say more!!!!!
